Meditation for Embodiment

Join me today as we meditate on embodying our desires.

How would you live moment to moment if you were living your dreams in this moment? I invite you to come along for the journey.

Hello, I invite you to close your eyes and settle in….

Starting off by taking the deepest breath you’ve taken yet today….inhaling deeply……and exhaling…..letting it all go…..

Taking a moment to settle into a normal pattern of breathing

Feeling the relaxation starting to flow through your body….

Nowhere to go, nothing to do, just being here in this present moment….

Hearing any sounds around you, feeling the surface beneath you and relaxing more and more….

Letting go of whatever has gone on in your day thus far….

Perhaps taking that mental elevator ride down from your head, down, down, down, into your heart….

Taking a moment now and bringing your attention to your brow, gently softening your brow, letting it smooth out….

Feeling your eyes getting heavier and your jaw getting slack….

Dropping your shoulders down and back, just settling in….

Softening the belly, letting it relax in this moment….

Perhaps noticing your neck and shoulders….are you holding any tension there? And if so, you can just invite that area to relax as well….

Breathing into that space and noticing how the muscles respond and relax….

Taking a moment now to notice your entire body…..

And just taking the next few moments to just breathe…..noticing each inhale and each exhale……nothing to do except to notice your breathing….

Knowing that it is normal for thoughts to float through, just notice them, let them float through and come back to your breath….

And now, in this relaxed state of being I’d like to invite you to ponder the following….

Bring to mind something that you would like to experience in your life….

It could be anything that is meaningful to you….taking a moment and breathing and letting what wants to come to mind to bubble up…

And when you have that vision….I invite you to notice where it is in space….is it close to you?

Is it in the distant future?

And just for a moment….imagine it floating closer to you….

And now, with this image in mind….imagine what you can do and who you can be in this very moment to start to embody this vision….

If you are living this vision….how are you thinking?

How are you acting?

How do you show up each and every day?

How do you feel?

What can you do or be in this very moment to embrace this image….

Taking a little time here now to breathe and to play with this in your mind…

How do you spend your days?

Who do you surround yourself with?

How do you speak to yourself and others?

Taking this next bit of time to breathe and to imagine….

And now….remembering that you can always come back to this place of beauty and magnificence in your mind…..

I invite you to start to bring your attention back to your body and the room that you’re in

Listening to the sound of my voice….hearing any sounds around you….

Feeling the surface beneath you…..

Taking a moment to relish this delicious feeling of peaceful relaxation…..

Starting to wiggle fingers and toes…. 

Shrugging your shoulders…stretching in any way that feels good to you…. 

And ever so slowly….opening and closing your eyes….
