Trusting the Process

Are there things you’d love to have or experience in life, but aren’t quite sure how to achieve them?

This week I discuss what it means to have a dream, flesh it out and then let it go and trust the process.

Hello, and welcome to my musing. Today I want to talk about trusting the process and what this means to me.

Let’s use our imaginations for a minute. Let’s imagine that there is something that you would LOVE to have in your life. Think about it for a minute, let it bubble up inside of you. What would you love to have or to experience? What does it look like? What would it feel like to have it or experience it?

Think about the details. For instance, maybe you’re dreaming of having a new home. What will it look like? How many bedrooms will it have? How will you decorate it? What’s your style? Where is it located? What amenities are important to you.

Really get into this. Really FEEl what it feels like to have this home in your life, to be living in it. Imagine waking up in the morning in your new bedroom, heading into the kitchen, making breakfast. Imagine how you feel as you walk through your house and live your life day to day in your beautiful creation.

This step of imagining and feeling is important and it’s important to have these images and feelings that you can tap into, but then comes faith and trust in the process.

You see, whatever we desire already exists for us. If we can dream it, we can have it or become it, but the trick is, we need to detach from it and step into trust and faith.

We need to trust the process. So, what do I mean by this? I mean we need to surrender to and trust that there is more to our lives than we can see in this moment. We need to remember that we have help from beyond if you will.

When we launch a desire, when we have a dream, we’re sending out a request and then we just need to step back. Now, this isn’t necessarily a passive place, although it can be a lot of the time.

What I mean is this. We launch the desire, and we know that we’ve sent the request and it’s being worked on, and then we stay open to the information we receive. You see, from our place of knowing and quiet, we will receive ideas, steps to take or we’ll have a conversation with someone that sparks something in it. This is the process.

We tune in to what we’d love, we really feel into what it will be like to have or be it, we let it go and then we stay open. We trust the process. We remember that we are not alone here in our physical form, that we always have help.

Think of it this way, we don’t place an order for an item online and then continue to go back to the website to see if they’ve received the order, no really, like did it go through? Did you get it? Are you going to send it to me? No, we place the order, and we know it’s on the way. We trust the process.

So, play with this. What would you love to have or experience in your life? Give it lots of detail. Feel what it will feel like to have or be this thing and then let it go and trust the process.

Let me know if you’d like support around this! I’m here to support you along the way.

And as always, remember that true peace is always just one breath away.
